Welcome to JobDocs! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobDocs document builder platform and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
1.1 Definitions
Account means the account you create to access and use the Service.
AI Features means the artificial intelligence-powered features and functionality available within the Service, including but not limited to AI-generated content, AI proposal writers, and automated document generation tools.
Business Day means a day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in New South Wales, Australia.
Content License Agreement means the terms governing your use of Licensed Content, as set out in Schedule A.
Document or Documents means proposals, quotes, invoices, capability statements, client welcome packs, handover briefs, and any other materials created by you using the Service.
Essentials Plan means the subscription plan offering core template library access and basic features for AUD $39 per month.
Free Plan means the free subscription tier providing limited access to the Service.
Intellectual Property means all intellectual property rights of whatever nature, including copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, and other proprietary rights.
JobDocs, we, us, or our refers to DESIGNER BUILDER COLLECTIVE PTY LTD Trading As JOBDOCS AI (ACN 684 253 058).
Licensed Content means templates, design elements, images, fonts, and other content provided by JobDocs or third-party content providers for use in creating your Documents.
Member or User means any individual or entity that creates an Account and uses the Service.
Pro Plan means the subscription plan offering full template library access, AI Features, and advanced functionality for AUD $69 per month.
Subscription Period means the period for which you subscribe to a paid plan (monthly or annual).
Team means a group of Users under a single subscription who can collaborate and share Documents.
Terms means these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.
User Content means any content, data, text, images, logos, files, or other materials that you upload to or create within the Service.
Website means the JobDocs website at [jobdocs.com] and any related mobile applications or platforms.
1.2 Interpretation
In these Terms, unless the context indicates otherwise:
(a) references to a person include an individual, company, partnership, or other entity;
(b) headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation;
(c) words in the singular include the plural and vice versa;
(d) references to clauses are references to clauses in these Terms;
(e) all monetary amounts are in United States Dollars (USD) or Australian Dollars (AUD) as specified;
(f) "including" and similar expressions are not words of limitation;
(g) a reference to any statute includes amendments, re-enactments, or replacements.
2. ABOUT JOBDOCS
2.1 The Service
JobDocs is an online document builder platform designed for builders, trades, interior designers, and other business professionals. The Service allows you to:
(a) Access and customize professional document templates;
(b) Create proposals, quotes, invoices, and other business documents;
(c) Use AI Features to generate content and automate document creation;
(d) Store and manage your Documents;
(e) Export Documents in various formats including PDF, JPEG, and PNG;
(f) Share Documents via email or shareable links; and
(g) Collaborate with team members (on applicable plans).
2.2 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that:
(a) You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms;
(b) You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
(c) If you are registering on behalf of a business or organization, you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms;
(d) You are at least 18 years of age;
(e) You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the Service.
2.3 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:
(a) Posting the updated Terms on the Website;
(b) Sending an email notification to the address associated with your Account; or
(c) Displaying a notice within the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modifications, you must cease using the Service and may cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 9.
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNTS
3.1 Account Creation
To access the Service, you must create an Account by providing:
(a) Your name and email address;
(b) A secure password;
(c) Business information (if applicable); and
(d) Payment information (for paid subscriptions).
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
(a) Maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials;
(b) All activities conducted through your Account;
(c) Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account;
(d) Ensuring your Account information is accurate and up to date.
You must not:
(a) Share your Account credentials with any other person;
(b) Allow any other person to access your Account;
(c) Create multiple Accounts for yourself; or
(d) Create an Account using false or misleading information.
3.3 Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your Account immediately if:
(a) You breach these Terms;
(b) Your use of the Service violates applicable laws;
(c) Your payment method is declined or disputed;
(d) We reasonably believe your Account is being used fraudulently; or
(e) Required by law or court order.
4. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND FEATURES
4.1 Available Plans

4.2 Plan Selection and Upgrades
You may:
(a) Select any plan for which you are eligible;
(b) Upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your Account settings;
(c) Changes to your plan will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
4.3 Feature Availability
We reserve the right to:
(a) Modify the features available in each plan;
(b) Add new features or functionality;
(c) Remove or discontinue features with reasonable notice;
(d) Limit usage of certain features based on fair use principles.
5. DOCUMENT CREATION AND LICENSED CONTENT
5.1 Creating Documents
You may use the Service to create Documents by:
(a) Selecting a document type (proposal, quote, invoice, etc.);
(b) Customizing templates with your business details;
(c) Using AI Features to generate content (on Pro Plan and above);
(d) Adding your own User Content;
(e) Applying your branding (logo, colors, fonts);
(f) Previewing and editing the Document;
(g) Exporting in your desired format.
5.2 Licensed Content
(a) JobDocs provides Licensed Content for use in creating your Documents;
(b) Your use of Licensed Content is subject to the Content License Agreement set out in Schedule A;
(c) Different license restrictions may apply to different types of Licensed Content;
(d) You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Licensed Content complies with applicable license restrictions;
(e) JobDocs does not warrant that Licensed Content is free from defects or suitable for any particular purpose.
5.3 Template Library
(a) The number and type of templates available depends on your subscription plan;
(b) Templates are provided "as-is" and may be updated or modified at any time;
(c) You may customize templates for your own use;
(d) You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense templates to third parties.
6. USER CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Your User Content
(a) You retain all ownership rights in your User Content;
(b) You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of uploading or publishing it;
(c) You represent and warrant that:
You own or have the necessary rights to use your User Content;
Your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights;
Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws.
6.2 License to JobDocs
By uploading User Content, you grant JobDocs:
(a) A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Store, host, and display your User Content;
Process your User Content to provide the Service;
Back up and secure your User Content;
(b) This license continues for as long as your User Content remains on the Service;
(c) You may delete your User Content at any time, subject to technical limitations and backup copies.
6.3 JobDocs Intellectual Property
(a) JobDocs owns all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including:
The Website and software;
Licensed Content;
All related technology and know-how;
Trademarks, logos, and branding;
(b) These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you;
(c) You receive only the limited license to use the Service as described in these Terms.
6.4 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service:
(a) You grant JobDocs an unlimited, perpetual, irrevocable license to use such feedback;
(b) JobDocs has no obligation to implement or credit your feedback;
(c) JobDocs may use your feedback to improve the Service without compensation to you.
7. AI FEATURES
7.1 AI Feature Usage
(a) AI Features are available on Pro Plan and Enterprise Plan subscriptions;
(b) You may use AI Features to:
Generate proposal content;
Create document text based on your inputs;
Automate document creation;
(c) AI-generated content is based on your inputs and prompts;
(d) You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.
7.2 AI Limitations and Disclaimers
IMPORTANT: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate material. You must:
(a) Review all AI-generated content for accuracy before use;
(b) Verify that AI-generated content is appropriate for your intended purpose;
(c) Ensure AI-generated content complies with applicable laws and regulations;
(d) Not rely solely on AI-generated content for legal, financial, or professional advice.
JobDocs does not warrant that AI-generated content will be:
(a) Accurate, complete, or error-free;
(b) Suitable for any particular purpose;
(c) Free from bias or inappropriate content;
(d) Compliant with laws or industry standards.
7.3 AI Training and Data Use
(a) JobDocs does not use your User Content or Documents to train AI models;
(b) We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve AI Features;
(c) Third-party AI providers may process your inputs in accordance with their privacy policies;
(d) You retain all rights to content you create using AI Features.
7.4 Prohibited AI Uses
You must not use AI Features to:
(a) Generate illegal, defamatory, or harmful content;
(b) Impersonate others or create misleading content;
(c) Generate spam or unsolicited communications;
(d) Circumvent content moderation or security measures;
(e) Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
8. EXPORT AND SHARING
8.1 Export Options
Depending on your plan, you may export Documents in the following formats:
(a) PDF (all plans);
(b) JPEG and PNG (Essentials Plan and above);
(c) Email directly to clients (Pro Plan and above);
(d) Shareable links (Pro Plan and above).
8.2 Sharing Responsibility
When you share or export Documents:
(a) You are responsible for the content and accuracy of shared Documents;
(b) You must ensure you have the right to share any Licensed Content included;
(c) Recipients may save, copy, or redistribute shared Documents;
(d) JobDocs is not responsible for how recipients use shared Documents.
8.3 Link Expiry
(a) Shareable links remain active unless you delete them;
(b) We reserve the right to deactivate links that violate these Terms;
(c) Deleted Documents may remain accessible via previously shared links for a limited time.
9. BILLING AND PAYMENTS
9.1 Subscription Fees
(a) Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing cycle;
(b) Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms;
(c) All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated;
(d) Fees may vary based on your location and selected currency.
9.2 Payment Methods
(a) You must provide valid payment information to access paid plans;
(b) You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees;
(c) You must update payment information if it changes or expires;
(d) We use third-party payment processors to handle payments securely.
9.3 Billing Cycles
(a) Monthly Plans: Billed monthly on the same date each month;
(b) Annual Plans: Billed annually on the anniversary of your subscription;
(c) Your billing cycle starts on the date you first subscribe or upgrade.
9.4 Automatic Renewal
IMPORTANT: All paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
(a) Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle;
(b) Your payment method will be charged automatically on the renewal date;
(c) We will send you a reminder email before each renewal;
(d) You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your Account settings.
9.5 Price Changes
(a) We may change subscription prices at any time;
(b) Price increases will not apply to your current billing cycle;
(c) We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase;
(d) If you do not accept a price increase, you may cancel your subscription.
9.6 Failed Payments
If your payment fails:
(a) We will attempt to charge your payment method again;
(b) We may suspend your access to paid features;
(c) Your Account may be downgraded to the Free Plan;
(d) You remain responsible for any outstanding fees.
9.7 Refunds
(a) Subscription fees are generally non-refundable;
(b) We may provide refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances;
(c) Refunds (if granted) will be prorated based on unused time;
(d) This policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
10. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION
10.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
(a) Accessing your Account settings and selecting "Cancel Subscription";
(b) Contacting our support team at [support email];
(c) Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle;
(d) You will retain access to paid features until the end of the paid period;
(e) No refund will be provided for the remaining portion of your billing cycle.
10.2 Termination by JobDocs
We may terminate your Account immediately if:
(a) You materially breach these Terms;
(b) You fail to pay subscription fees;
(c) Your use of the Service is illegal or harmful;
(d) Required by law or regulatory authority;
(e) We cease operating the Service.
10.3 Effects of Termination
Upon termination or cancellation:
(a) Your access to the Service will be terminated;
(b) Your Documents and User Content may be deleted after a reasonable period;
(c) You should export any Documents you wish to retain before cancellation;
(d) Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
10.4 Data Retention
(a) We may retain your User Content for up to 30 days after cancellation;
(b) After 30 days, we may permanently delete your User Content and Documents;
(c) We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes;
(d) Deleted data cannot be recovered.
11. TEAM COLLABORATION
11.1 Team Features (Pro Plan and Above)
(a) Pro Plan subscribers may add up to 5 team members;
(b) Enterprise Plan subscribers have custom team size limits;
(c) Team members can access shared Documents and templates;
(d) The subscription owner is responsible for all team member activity.
11.2 Team Owner Responsibilities
As the Team Owner, you:
(a) Are responsible for payment of all subscription fees;
(b) Control team member access and permissions;
(c) May add or remove team members at any time;
(d) Are liable for all team member conduct and violations.
11.3 Team Member Access
Team members may:
(a) Access Documents shared by the Team Owner;
(b) Create their own Documents within the Team Account;
(c) Collaborate on Documents with other team members;
(d) Use templates and Licensed Content available to the Team.
Team members may not:
(a) Change billing or subscription settings;
(b) Remove other team members;
(c) Transfer ownership of the Team Account.
11.4 Data Ownership in Teams
(a) The Team Owner controls all Documents created within the Team Account;
(b) When a team member is removed, their Documents may remain accessible to the Team;
(c) Team members should not upload personal or confidential content to Team Accounts;
(d) JobDocs is not responsible for disputes between Team Owners and team members.
12. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
12.1 General Prohibitions
You must not use the Service to:
(a) Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
(b) Infringe intellectual property rights of others;
(c) Transmit harmful, threatening, or abusive content;
(d) Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices;
(e) Distribute spam or unsolicited communications;
(f) Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code;
(g) Interfere with the Service or other users;
(h) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
(i) Scrape or harvest data from the Service;
(j) Use the Service for illegal purposes.
12.2 Content Restrictions
Your User Content and Documents must not contain:
(a) Illegal, defamatory, or obscene material;
(b) Content that infringes third-party rights;
(c) Discriminatory or hateful content;
(d) False or misleading information;
(e) Content that promotes violence or harm;
(f) Confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.
12.3 Enforcement
If we determine you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy:
(a) We may remove or disable access to violating content;
(b) We may suspend or terminate your Account;
(c) We may report violations to law enforcement;
(d) We may take legal action to protect our rights and users.
13. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
13.1 Privacy Policy

(a) What personal data we collect;
(b) How we use your personal data;
(c) How we protect your personal data;
(d) Your rights regarding your personal data;
(e) How to contact us about privacy matters.
13.2 Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:

(b) Access controls and authentication;
(c) Regular security audits and monitoring;
(d) Employee training on data security.
However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13.3 Data Location
(a) Your data may be stored and processed in Australia, the United States, or other countries;
(b) We comply with applicable data protection laws including the Australian Privacy Act 1988;
(c) By using the Service, you consent to international data transfers as necessary to provide the Service.
13.4 Your Data Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
(a) Access your personal data;
(b) Correct inaccurate personal data;
(c) Request deletion of your personal data;
(d) Object to processing of your personal data;
(e) Export your personal data;
(f) Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
14. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
14.1 Service Provided "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
(a) We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free;
(b) We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements;
(c) We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content;
(d) We do not warrant that defects will be corrected;
(e) You use the Service at your own risk.
14.2 No Professional Advice
JOBDOCS DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL, FINANCIAL, BUSINESS, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
(a) Documents created using the Service are not a substitute for professional advice;
(b) You should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation;
(c) We are not responsible for your use of Documents created with the Service;
(d) We make no representations about the legal enforceability of Documents.
14.3 Third-Party Content and Services
(a) The Service may include links to third-party websites or services;
(b) We are not responsible for third-party content or services;
(c) Your use of third-party services is at your own risk;
(d) We do not endorse or warrant third-party content or services.
14.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
(a) Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:
AUD $100; or
The subscription fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
(b) We are not liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities;
Loss of data or corruption of data;
Loss of goodwill or reputation;
Costs of substitute products or services;
Damages caused by your use or inability to use the Service.
(c) These limitations apply even if:
We knew or should have known about the possibility of such damages;
A remedy fails of its essential purpose;
You have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14.5 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any:
(a) Statutory rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law;
(b) Consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by law;
(c) Rights you may have under other applicable laws.
If the Australian Consumer Law applies and we breach a consumer guarantee:
(a) Our liability is limited, at our option, to:
Re-supplying the Service; or
Paying the cost of re-supplying the Service.
(b) This limitation does not apply to guarantees that cannot be limited by law.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
15.1 Your Indemnity Obligations
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobDocs, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
(a) Your use or misuse of the Service;
(b) Your User Content;
(c) Your Documents;
(d) Your breach of these Terms;
(e) Your violation of any laws or regulations;
(f) Your infringement of any third-party rights;
(g) Any claim that your User Content caused harm to a third party.
15.2 Defense and Settlement
(a) We will notify you promptly of any claim subject to indemnification;
(b) You will have sole control over the defense and settlement of such claims;
(c) We may participate in the defense at our own expense;
(d) You may not settle any claim without our prior written consent if the settlement imposes obligations on us.
16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16.2 Jurisdiction
(a) For Users located in Australia:
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
(b) For Users located outside Australia:
We both agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation before resorting to formal proceedings.
16.3 Informal Resolution
Before commencing any legal action:
(a) You must contact us at [support email] describing the dispute;
(b) We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days;
(c) If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, either party may pursue formal proceedings.
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other documents incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and JobDocs regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable:
(a) That provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid;
(b) The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17.3 Waiver
(a) Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver;
(b) Waiver of any provision must be in writing;
(c) Waiver of one breach does not waive subsequent breaches.
17.4 Assignment
(a) You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your Account without our written consent;
(b) We may assign or transfer these Terms or our rights at any time without notice;
(c) These Terms bind and benefit the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.
17.5 Notices
(a) We will send notices to the email address associated with your Account;

(c) Notices are deemed received when sent to a valid email address;
(d) You must keep your email address current.
17.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
(a) Acts of God, natural disasters, or severe weather;
(b) War, terrorism, riots, or civil unrest;
(c) Government actions or regulations;
(d) Internet or telecommunications failures;
(e) Cyberattacks or security breaches;
(f) Pandemics or public health emergencies.
17.7 Relationship of Parties
(a) These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship;
(b) Neither party has authority to bind the other party;
(c) Each party is an independent contractor.
17.8 Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not confer any rights or remedies on any person other than you and JobDocs.
18. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE
18.1 Changes to Features
We may at any time:
(a) Add new features or functionality to the Service;
(b) Modify or remove existing features;
(c) Change how features operate;
(d) Discontinue the Service or parts of the Service.
18.2 Notice of Material Changes
For material changes that negatively affect your use of paid features:
(a) We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice;
(b) Notice will be sent to your email address;
(c) If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription for a prorated refund.

SCHEDULE A: CONTENT LICENSE AGREEMENT
A.1 License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, JobDocs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Licensed Content solely:
(a) In connection with the Service;
(b) To create Documents for your business or personal use;
(c) During the term of your subscription.
A.2 License Restrictions
You may not:
(a) Redistribute, resell, or sublicense Licensed Content;
(b) Use Licensed Content outside of the Service;
(c) Claim ownership of Licensed Content;
(d) Use Licensed Content in a manner that infringes third-party rights;
(e) Use Licensed Content for illegal or harmful purposes;
(f) Extract Licensed Content from the Service;
(g) Create derivative works from Licensed Content (except as incorporated into your Documents);
(h) Use Licensed Content in any logo, trademark, or service mark.
A.3 Documents Created with Licensed Content
(a) You own Documents you create using the Service;
(b) Documents may contain Licensed Content and are subject to these restrictions;
(c) You may use Documents containing Licensed Content for their intended business purpose;
(d) You may share Documents with clients, customers, and business partners;
(e) Recipients of your Documents are not granted any license to Licensed Content.
A.4 Attribution
(a) Some Licensed Content may require attribution;
(b) Attribution requirements (if any) will be specified when you use such content;
(c) You must comply with all attribution requirements.
A.5 Termination of License
Your license to use Licensed Content terminates:
(a) Upon expiration or termination of your subscription;
(b) Upon termination of these Terms;
(c) Immediately upon breach of these license terms;
(d) If we discontinue offering specific Licensed Content.
A.6 Third-Party Content
(a) Some Licensed Content may be provided by third parties;
(b) Third-party content may be subject to additional terms;
(c) We are not responsible for third-party content;
